First: concentration isn’t the whole story
Concentration can hint at intensity and longevity, but formula, materials and style matter more. A bright EDT can outlast a weak EDP if it is blended better.
EDT (Eau de Toilette)
- Usually lighter, brighter, more sparkly.
- Examples from the site: Polo Blue, Versace Dylan Blue, Versace The Dreamer.
- Best for: heat, daytime, office, gym, errands.
EDP (Eau de Parfum)
- Usually richer, denser, more present.
- Examples from the site: Rasasi Hawas, Fakhar, Supremacy Not Only Intense.
- Best for: everyday signature, nights, AC environments.
Parfum / Extrait
- Often smoother, rounder and more concentrated.
- Examples from the site: Bleu de Chanel Parfum, Creed Aventus, some richer Middle Eastern releases.
- Best for: close-range luxury aura, date nights, cooler settings.
Elixir
Elixir is not a strict concentration class. Brands use it to signal a darker, sweeter or stronger flanker. Think Le Male Elixir and 9PM Rebel type energy.
Practical cheat code
- Hot day in Jamaica? Start with a fresh EDT or light EDP.
- Date night / AC? EDP, Parfum or richer sweet scents usually shine.
- If you want beast mode, chase formula + reviews, not just letters.
